SAFEGUARDING & TRANSPARENCY

Care includes being clear.

Our proposed safeguarding standards, website privacy information and honest approach to images, stories and plans.

Child safeguarding

The foundation proposes a child-first standard: every activity must be safe, necessary, supervised, and appropriate to age and circumstance. Safeguarding is a continuing duty, not a form signed once.

Boundaries, response and referral

Before participation, caregivers receive understandable information and provide consent, while children are listened to in age-appropriate ways. The proposed two-adult rule, volunteer training, safe reporting route, incident documentation, and referral to competent services create layers of protection. Any concern would be acted on promptly and confidentially within applicable law; fundraising or programme targets never override safety.

Privacy and a minimal-data website

This static site’s contact control only opens the visitor’s email application; it does not submit a form to a server. The site uses no analytics and no website-side personal-data storage.

Keep choice local and data limited

A language preference, if offered, remains only in the visitor’s browser and is not transmitted to the foundation. Email sent voluntarily to admin@saosomkhamman.xyz is handled as correspondence, with access limited to those who need it and retention kept proportionate to the enquiry. Public pages do not publish children’s names or identifying case details.

Editorial transparency

The site distinguishes verified foundation facts from proposed plans, targets, and draft schedules. It does not fabricate testimonials, donors, partnerships, experiences, results, or an approval from Google for Nonprofits.

Label what is illustrative and what is proposed

Any AI-generated image is labelled as illustrative and must not imply that a pictured child, family, volunteer, or event is real. Lived stories require authorisation, while schedules remain clearly marked as drafts until a real activity is confirmed. Corrections should be made promptly, with the registration notice retained as the source for official identity details.
